YES, I am the same Martin as referred to in Gazette Opinion, September 27, but then Mark Starr fails to state his party political leanings.
Google his name to reveal him from the shadows. Malvern Town Council, MalvernChase, Keep Politicsoutof Town Council –you areonly allowedsixdescriptive wordson theballot sheet, the word‘party’after the word‘keep’ would have beenmypreference.
Mark talks of “war” and “false flag” and “deceive the opposition”, these attitudes are the very reason why I seek to “make Malvern Town Council a party politics free zone”.
British soldiers make us proud when they play a peacekeeping role, the electorate in Malvern Chase resoundingly voted for peace.
My Lib-Dem support will continue in terms of nontown council elections, warmly inviting other political parties to contest elections, for it is only by bringing individuals, their opinions and motives out of the shadows that the electorate can make informed decisions.
I take this opportunity to thank the electorate for supporting me to the tune of 568 votes, versus UKIP 208.
