No more noise
10:00am Monday 4th March 2013 in Letters
ONCE again Councillor Adrian Ward has chosen to impose some raucous, wailing, highly intrusive country ‘music’ on the residents who live in Malvern’s town centre.
Did we have a choice?
I don’t want or need this anti-social noise and neither do my neighbours, having spoken to a number ofthem.
Complain to Mr Ward and the only response will be a petulant one-word answer to a requestto stop doing this.
He will say that his customers like this stuff.
They may well do, but his response is ultimately a two-fingered one to any of his neighbours who dare to have the temerity to complain.
I’m entirely sure thatif MrWard and his wife found themselves being serenaded by this noise every so often for a number of hours on a weekend afternoon they would be complaining vociferously – as would the ‘country squire’ who attempted to belittle my complaint when I spoke to MrWard.
In a few hours my neighbours and I will have to endure the sheer noisy awfulness that is Malvern on a weekend evening – which is not fun at all.
