Police savings

 INTERESTING to hear that one ofthe first major actions of our new police commissioner has been to downgrade the Malvern police station and close the one at Bromyard, all in an attemptto save money.

Perhaps the powers that be should have considered this before spending £75 million on the police commissioner elections and further millions to pay for their salaries and offices.

Is it any wonder that these elections were treated with the contempt they deserved?
