Dirty laundry

I FOUND it most bizarre that our chief executive, Chris Bocock, aired his dirty laundry in public last week.

In defending the actions of his highly-paid officers itleft me wondering what have they been up to.

We all know now that denial of any wrongdoing to the public is quickly followed these days by scandal.

Then an investigation and then usually an apology and resignation.

We had MPs’ expenses, speeding tickets, swearing at police, now Clegg and long ago my favorite quote fromPresident Bill Clinton “I have not had relations with that woman”.

So whatis itthen thatthe officers have not been open, honest and transparent about.

Wellin this case I believe itis thatthe system of recycling they just introduced costing us £1.6 million could be illegal in two years’time.

Am awaiting the next public announcement with interest, our very own Watergate.
