I WAS delighted for the chance to vote on your website that the ‘buzzards’ artwork was an “exciting brilliant piece” – but surprised to find 41 per cent thought it “rubbish or a monstrosity”.
Beauty will always be in the eye of the beholder, but I think the piece brilliant in concept, creation, site, impact and size. I am not concerned whether the piece represents buzzards or not. It is very attractive and striking, set against the green backdrop.
How about extending this opportunity to vote to other pieces of Malvern’s public art?
