IN response to Mike Charles's letter in last weeks Gazette, I have to admit I had an “Inward Chuckle” on the above subject.
Cllr Charles states that he is fed up with outside councils and Councillors interfering in this debate.
The facts are that wheeled bins are coming and there is very little Mike Charles can do about it, grants for this service have been provided for a revised and more efficient service.
Cllr Charles says he has lived in Malvern for 76 years and it appears “abhors” change, well Mike, my wife and I came to live in a 21st Century Upton, the days of the man with a leather waistcoat collecting the metal ash bin and loading it onto a horse and cart have been consigned to history.
