AT the monthly meeting of the Ledbury and District U3A's Local History Group, a presentation was given by the Curator of the Conningsby Museum in Hereford.
The illustrated talk explained the links the Museum has with Herefordshire's Hampton Court, the Knights Templar and Hospitalers, the Order of St.John of Jerusalem and Black Friars, together with the influence King Charles II's mistress Nell Gwynne had on the uniforms of present day Chelsea Pensioners.
The group will have a full guided tour of the Museum by the Curator when it visits in March.
