CLIENTS and fellow members of the town's business community joined Malvern accountants Turl & Co for cake and coffee as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning which raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Top talent was Olivia Attwood, digital marketing apprentice at Turl, who won the Star Baker award, while Sharon Southcott of Strategic Professionals won the Spot the Cake competition.
Practice owner, Karen Lowen said: "When I heard the news about this year’s Coffee Morning, I knew I had to take part. I have lost a number of family to this dreadful disease and have watched close friends fight it valiantly. Macmillan offer tremendous support at a time when it is often so needed. At Turl & Co we spent a long time preparing for the event, and when it came around it was fantastic to see our guests enjoying themselves, all in support of a wonderful charity. I was so pleased when all of our donations had been totalled they came to more than £70 and seeing the local community come together to support Macmillan was touching.”
