HERE we are, almost into the last week of October. Can you believe that it will be Christmas in approximately 9 weeks’ time? The trees across the way in Frith Wood are rapidly changing to golds and reds and browns.
This Thursday morning is the Curious Blend Coffee Morning, 10.30am – 12 noon, in the Memorial Hall. All are welcome to come and meet others over a cup of tea or coffee, and update yourselves on what is happening in the village. The second-hand book table is always very popular.
Sunday morning 9.30am is Morning Worship at Christ Church. All are welcome to join in. Wednesday prayers continue at 9.30am.
Welsh Water have advised that there will be roadworks and possible road-closure on Beggars Ash from this Monday 24 October to Wednesday 26. Be prepared! This means the bus route will change and will take a little longer to get to and from the village.
Calligraphy classes are currently running. Please contact Val is you would like to try your hand at this relaxing art (01531 630257).
All Memorial Hall activities continue as usual.
And to end with: ‘When we fill our thoughts with right things, the wrong ones have no room to enter’ (Joyce Meyer).
Have a lovely week!
