My wingwalking is over! It was a fantastic experience and has raised a considerable amount for Childline. I still have a few donations to collect, but the overall total will be around £2600!! absolutely great and many thanks to all of you who have donated. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, especially after the false starts; what a great way to fund raise.
Next Saturday 22 October, the Powick Community Choir will be performing in St.James' Church. They start at 7pm and the tickets are
£10 to include refreshments. They came to St.James' earlier on this year and are back by popular demand. Tickets are going quite quickly and are available from Welland Stores, Hanley Swan Post Office or me. 01684 310289
The next Flea Market in St.James' Church will be on Saturday 5 November. The Flea Markets run the first Saturday in each month up till and including April. Tables are £5 and you can bring what you like to sell 01684 310289.
