President, Isabel Carmichael, welcomed members and three visitors to our open meeting.

Isabel thanked all the members who had baked and served tea to members of the Woolhope Club on an afternoon visit to Bosbury.

£50 had been donated to Hereford Haven (support for breast cancer patients).

A flowering shrub has been planted outside the hall in the WI flowerbed in memory of Sue Hall.

Our speaker for the evening was Madeleine Horton who demonstrated how to make glamourous fascinators using feathers, beads and other accessories. Madeleine trained as a pattern cutter and dressmaker and designs outfits for special occasions including headwear. She was thanked by Jane Delahaye.
