In the summer members enjoyed being taught Archery at Blackmore and a visit to Stourport Trefoil Guild on a lovely day for a Strawberry Tea. 4 members joined in the National weekend at Harrogate when 2000 Trefoil Guild members were at the AGM to hear the writer Gervase Phinn speak.

Some visited our President for a garden meeting and some went to Blackmore for a 1940's themed event run by Friends of Blackmore. They heard about its role in WW2 as an American hospital.

Our autumn meetings will be at a new venue, Poolbrook Village Hall, Poolbrook Road, at 2.30 in the afternoon. We welcome new members to join us there as we have an interesting programme to offer.

On Monday September 12th we shall be learning about new First Aid Equipment for Guider Training and on Tuesday October 11th our speaker will talk about her trip to Sangam, the Guide World Centre in India.

Members will be at the County Annual Get-together at Beoley Village Hall on 10th September and go with other Guilds to see 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham, on 14th September.
