What a wonderful way to spend our second club trip of the summer an absolutely fabulous visit to David’s Garden, which is next door to David’s Nursery at Martin Hussingtree. David and Sarah used to run the Nursery, which they sold two years ago, since then they have invested all their time, energy and enthusiasm into developing their one and a half acre garden. The amount they have achieved in just two years is truly incredible when you consider bed preparation, constructional work and the planting and maturing of the many different plants.
David's garden is in fact a series of gardens, beautifully linked together, each created to display their own individual character and charm. David's Garden opens twice each year under the NGS and is highly recommended to anyone who has not been before.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Annual Show has had to be postponed this year but we have great hopes of having one in 2017.
There will be a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the village hall on Thursday 1st September which is open to everyone. Please come and support us.
Our first club meeting is Tuesday 19th September at 7.30pm.
