I am writing this on Sunday 17th July when I should be on top of a plane wingwalking, but just last week I tripped and broke a small bone in my wrist. However do not despair as the date has been changed to 10th September, so keep giving please. What an anti climax and I am thoroughly cheesed off with myself.
This weekend is the Patronal Festival at St James Church Welland. There will be craft tables, and exhibits from Welland Arts and Crafts group with demonstrations. There are unusual flower displays based on the Saints and refreshments include St James' popular cream teas. The entrance is free and it runs over the weekend from 10 til 3 each day. If anyone would like to book a table we can squeeze a few more in. £15 for weekend or £10 per day. 01684 310289.
Last car boot this Sunday as well. It is in aid of the Misfits, Welland Rounders team. Gates open 9am.
