IT was an absolute pleasure to see all those happy smiles on Sunday, June 26 when we had our annual visit for the Community Action Tea at Christ Church. We filled the Hall with tables and cake displays and sandwiches for all to enjoy and enjoy they did. Brian made some fabulous centre pieces and I told them not to worry as we would have “Musical Cakes” and they could all sample a piece of their favourites. We had entertainment as well from Brian on the piano and a lovely sing a long, when a wet afternoon was transformed in to a warm and happy gathering . All went home content and complete with doggy backs for a further helping! Don’t forget to join us each Saturday for our Book Fair with coffee from 10am until 12noon and make a note of our Suzuki Concert at 7.30pm Saturday, August 6. FREE ENTRY and refreshments will be served it will be a lovely evening.
