A TIME of change is coming to Redmarley Church and the Leadon Vale Parishes. Our Vicar Tony Lomas and his wife Ingrid are leaving for “pastures new”, not here in England as you might expect, but in Aquitaine. The opportunity arose from a chance meeting with the Archdeacon of France whilst on holiday last year. Tony will taking the position of Anglian Chaplain in Aquitaine. The Chaplaincy of Aquitaine is huge with fifteen places of worship, in an area bigger than Wales, and includes the major centres of Bordeaux, Perigueux, Bergerac and the western part of the Dordogne river. Fortunately he will have a “ significant ministry team”!

Tony will be leaving at the end of July. There will be a “Farewell Service” at the Nine- Parish Service in Redmarley Church at 10am on Sunday 17 July followed by lunch at the Village Hall. His last service will be at Kempley on 31st July. Tony and Ingrid will both be missed here.
