Bosbury Educational Foundation – Charity No: 527140 – advises that any young person wishing to apply for a further education grant from the Foundation should do so now. The grants are for school leavers going on to further education and applicants must have lived in the Parish of Bosbury for at least three years. This year the Foundation is also inviting students from Bosbury, who are pursuing a practical/vocational course, to apply for the Jack Mason Grant. The grant amounts are at the discretion of the Governors of the Foundation. Please apply in writing to Ms N. Ruddick (Clerk), Bosbury Educational Foundation, 4, Morton Cottages, Bosbury, HR8 1PT. Please include details of the course to be taken, plus age of applicant and time resident in Bosbury. Anyone who has had a grant and whose course is on-going is reminded that they will need to re-apply. All applications must be in by Friday, 16 September 2016.

On Saturday July 9, from 1 – 3pm, there will be loads of fun for the family at Bosbury School’s Summer Fayre. This year there is an Olympics/Sports theme with games, stalls and raffles. Bosbury School Choir will give a performance and scrumptious refreshments including strawberries and cream will be on offer. Everyone is welcome to come along to the School playing field for an entertaining afternoon.
