AT the regular meeting on Monday 6 June the members were treated to an entertaining talk by Mr Paul McGuire on the subject “Warming up at the BBC”.
His experiences over years of activity with audiences for both radio and TV shows brought back many memories of stars of the past and present. Curious anecdotes relating to well known names revealed some unexpected background to their careers.
The next meeting will be on Monday June 26 when Mr Frank Townsend will talk on Narrow Boat Cruising.
The club’s meetings are at the Abbey Hotel, Great Malvern with refreshments available from 10am. Guests are most welcome. Further information is available from the Programme Secretary b533martin@btinternet.com.
