AN enthusiastic group of singers met for CaCoffany last Saturday and enjoyed a varied programme of hymns, both modern and traditional, followed by coffee and cake. Next CaCoffany dates are Saturday 2 July and Saturday 30 July - please note there will be no CaCoffany in August.

Our Open Gardens weekend draws closer and we look forward to welcoming visitors to Castlemorton on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June between 11.00am and 5.00pm. Passports will be available from the Parish Hall for £5 each. These cover both days and will give you admission to all eight gardens which are open over the weekend. Lunches will be served in the hall and parish records will be on display in the church. Other attractions are teas and Pimms, and stalls selling plants, cakes and other goods. The weekend will culminate with a service of thanksgiving in the form of Songs of Praise at 6.30pm in the church. Accompaniment on this occasion with be provided by the Ledbury Community Brass Band. Do make a note of the dates and come and join us for a very special weekend in the lovely setting of Castlemorton.

On this coming Sunday we join with the nation in marking the 90th birthday of Her Majesty The Queen. Our Family Service will be dedicated to this celebration and we shall enjoy a glass of bubbles and a piece of Dundee cake afterwards. The service begins at 11.15am and we look forward to a fitting address given by The Revd Chris Moss. Do join us for this special service where you will be assured of a very warm welcome.

The House Bible Group continues with the study of Psalms 51 and 103 on Tuesday evening. This begins at 7.15pm with refreshments. Further information can be obtained from Michael Harper on 01684 830133.
