OUR Week of Prayer offered a welcome opportunity to take time out of busy schedules and gather for periods of stillness and quiet. The Prayer Tree has been enjoyed by people of all ages and Green Class from Castlemorton Primary School spent an hour in the church to pray together and tie ribbons on the tree. As a result, we shall leave the tree in place for an indefinite period to assist those who wish to be still during daytime hours when the church is open.

The week culminated on Saturday with a Day of Prayer and Reflection when half hour sections of the day were each given to hearing a bible reading, listening to music and praying the Psalms. A break for lunch was enjoyed by those gathered together at that time. This event was appreciated by many of our congregation and one which we hope to repeat in the future.

Now is the last chance to reserve your tickets for our Harp Recital on Saturday 21 May at 7.30pm in the church. This is a rare opportunity to hear this lovely instrument played solo by Elizabeth Bass in the delightful setting of St Gregory's. At just £10 tickets are available at the door or may be reserved in advance by calling David Edwards (07733 105258) or Sarah Musgrave (07715 562311). A bar will be open throughout the evening for wine and soft drinks and light refreshments will be served during the interval. All proceeds will support St Gregory's Development Project.

This Sunday we celebrate Trinity Sunday with a service of Holy Communion at 9.30am. Included are set readings, selected hymns and an address from The Revd Chris Moss, who is thought provoking and always inspires. Do join us if you are free; visitors are assured of a warm welcome.
