LAST week some of our members enjoyed a visit to Corsham Court, internationally famous for its collection of Old Master paintings and 18th century furniture. Following a descriptive talk by the Owner, members viewed not only the paintings but also the state rooms, which have been open to the public for 200 years or so, and the interesting gardens laid out by Capability Brown. Towards the end of April our members enjoyed a memorable holiday to Scotland, taking in the historic houses and heritage of the Scottish Borders.
