THE first May meeting of the Malvern Probus Club took place on Monday 9 at the Abbey Hotel.
Despite holidays and good weather a large number of members greatly enjoyed a presentation by Mr Garth Lowe, the well known local naturalist, on the subject of birds that can be seen in local gardens and in the wider area of the Malvern Hills.
Many members had observations to offer and good discussion followed.
The next meeting will be on Monday May 23 when the speaker will be Mr Dick Sheppard “The World’s Most Prolific Stuntman”, credited with crashing more than 2000 Cars! This should be a most entertaining morning.
The meetings are at the Abbey Hotel, Great Malvern with refreshments available from 10am. Guests are most welcome. Further information is available from the Programme Secretary b533martin@btinternet.com.
