IT might be cold and hailing, but the Pear Trees that line the Gloucester Road by the Church are out in all their glory. It wont be long before the apple blossom is out; Spring is definitely on its way.

This Thursday is polling day for a new Police Commissioner. Use your vote.

Whist Drive on Tuesday, May 10 in the Parish Hall from 7-10pm. Come and join this merry band of faithful whistdrivers for a convivial evening and help to raise money for Parkinsons.

The Day Care centre is closed for the time being due to illness.

The Welland Dog Show and Fete is on June 25 on the recreation ground in the village. Raffle tickets are in abundance. The shop has kindly offered to sell some and all the members of the Fete committee have some and will probably stop you in the street. This year the proceeds are going to the Parish Hall and the Church's Bell Fund.
