"A fool and his money are soon parted" but our members proved the opposite is true at our first meeting of 2016. A good number of members and visitors were soon throwing caution to the wind as they bid for various items at our auction with Maureen proving herself a natural as our auctioneer as lots were disposed of. It certainly made for a different but thoroughly enjoyable evening.
For our next meeting on February 4, at St Andrew's Church hall at 7.30 pm, we will be learning about the work of a JP.
