THE first talk of this new year will be at 7.30pm on January 29, when we shall welcome members and their friends to an illustrated presentation on the history of Bromesberrow Place. I’m really looking forward to this, as the last time I went there was years ago, when Miss Allbright was still alive, and then one could only view the outside. The talk will be at 7.30pm in the Burgage Hall, Church Lane and I hope those who can come will appreciate the work that has been undertaken for the improvement of lighting, which no longer takes ages to warm up! Heating last year, lighting this year and we’ve still got further improvements planned.
