AFTER our December meeting which was party time and our Christmas lunch at the White Lion in Upton, it is now back to business.
Our meeting on Tuesday was one of the best we have had, so after our President had given out the notices we were given a wonderful talk by Mrs Ruth Pole on 'Mercy Ships'.
Mrs Pole herself was a dentist so could talk first hand about her subject.
Mercy Ships is an international Christian Charity using hospital ships partnering with land based programmes to deliver transformational health care at no charge to the worlds forgotten poor.
Sometimes there are as many as 7000 thousand people to see the doctors from the ships who perform wonderful surgery for the people who need it. The whole talk most most inspiring.
Our next meeting is on February 7 and the subject is 'Writing for Malvern Theatres',
New members are most welcome.
