WELL, there certainly was a winter chill outside but there was an abundance of warmth and fellowship inside our Church in Saturday, November 21. It was so good to see so many of you supporting us and hear all your lovely comments about the Church . There was a steady flow of visitors throughout the morning buying from our stalls and enjoying their coffee and cake and the musical highlight of Tim Sidford playing with some of his extremely talented young pupils. He had a programme which included a lovely blend of pieces and, although not quite snowing outside, the appropriately named “Snowman”. Youngsters were able to buy from the Toy stall and choose a free book from our children’s books and lots of gifts were bought in preparation for Christmas. The total raised was £810 which is a wonderful boost to our Roof Fund. Thanks to all who helped and all who came and enjoyed the morning. We have our usual Saturday morning Book Fair, with refreshments , Saturday, November 28 from 10am-12noon. On Sunday, November 29, in addition to our usual 11am. Holy Communion with Canon Harold Goddard , we have our Advent Carol Service with Malvern St James School and their Chaplain Revd Kim Taplin at 6.30 pm. Come and celebrate with us this special service to start Advent and enjoy the beautiful singing.
