LAST Tuesday our Book Club met for the last discussion in this series where the focus was on 'The Life You've Always Wanted' by John Ortberg. The course of six sessions was stimulating and well attended and we look forward to repeating this next year.
This Sunday, November 22, our service is Holy Communion at 9.30am when The Revd Chris Moss will be preaching. Selected hymns and set readings will form part of the service and we look forward to hearing an inspiring address. Visitors are most welcome to attend.
Everyone is beginning to make plans for Christmas celebrations and at St Gregory's these begin on Sunday, November 29 with our Advent Carol Service. This special service with readings and celebratory music is held by candlelight as we recall that birth of Jesus takes us all from darkness into light. The service begins at 6.30pm and is open to everyone. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Do come along and join us if you can.
