WE HAVE well and truly entered the world of Autumn now and the start of November means it's time to meet for CaCoffany once again. This month's CaCoffany takes place tomorrow on Saturday 7 November at 10.00, when local parishioners and visitors alike will be welcome to join us. A new selection of hymns will be presented for all to sing and halfway through the programme we'll have the pleasure of listening to Cecily Howick playing her viola to provide inspiration for reflection. Coffee and a mouth watering array of cakes will be available afterwards for us to enjoy, whilst having the opportunity to catch up with friends. As usual, we shall hold a Bring and Buy Stall to help raise funds to maintain our lovely church. We hope to see you at St Gregory's for an uplifting experience which is absolutely free!

Our Book Club meetings have reached Week 5, but it's not too late to join this group which meets on Tuesday evenings at Dees Cottage Annexe beginning at 7.15 for 7.45pm. This group meets to discuss 'The Life you've Always Wanted' by John Ortberg. If you are interested in joining the session on Tuesday 10 November, please contact Michael Harper (01684 830133) for further details.

Tickets are selling well for our next concert 'What Sweeter Music', an evening with the Choir of Clare College Cambridge, on Sunday 6 December at 6.30pm in the church. We have limited space, so do book early for this rare opportunity to hear these sublime voices in a local ecclesiastical setting. Tickets cost just £12.50, with generous concessions for students, and are available from Steve Howick on 01684 833607. All proceeds from this event will support St Gregory's Church Development Fund.

This Sunday we hold our Remembrance Day Service and meet at 10.45 to allow time to gather for the notices before laying the wreath at the war memorial in the churchyard. Our Reader Michael Harper will be preaching and coffee will be served afterwards. Do join us for this traditional act of remembrance to mark the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for our freedom.
