A LOVE story set in South America, what a delightful way to begin a talk to the WI, so began Bea McGoven, the speaker for the evening.
Bea brought with her many craft and accessories from Peru to illustrate her talk about her work in Peru.
Members later had great fun trying on some of the hats and ponchos! Bea even brought her supper (Peruvian of course) cooked in a traditional way. The vote of thanks was given by Pam.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, November 5 at St Andrews church hall at 7.30pm. The speaker for the evening will be Janis Waldron and any visitors will be made most welcome.
