TODAY is MacMillan’s coffee fund-raising day.
Wendy Hurley invites you to Dogberry Orchard between 10.30am–12.30pm for coffee and cake.
Sunday’s service is Family Communion and the morning’s offering is going toward Caitlyn’s initiative to raise money to help someone else facing her progressive neurological disease, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy. This will enable them to also have the Eye Gaze computer system.
The next Parish Council Meeting is on Tuesday, September 29 at 7.30pm. The village needs more volunteers to serve on the council. Please contact Jennifer Jones if you can give some input. Your village needs you!
The Craft Group meet next Thursday 2pm-4pm in the committee room at the Memorial Hall.
The open ditch across the road near Pool Piece has been covered over and traffic is no longer subject to detours.
Ripe blackberries abound in the hedges and near the walking paths and what better to do at this time of the year than make delicious apple and blackberry pie?
