LONGDON Women's Fellowship enjoyed a lovely evening in July with Trisha Griffiths showing us her many lovely patchwork quilts and telling us the fascinating history of British and American Patchwork and Quilting.
LWF will be holding a fun practical Art evening with Anne Harker on Wednesday, September 30 at 7.30pm with raffle and refreshments.
Longdon Village Hall is holding an Authentic Curry Night on Saturday, September 19 7.30pm for 8pm at £12 a head/three courses delivered from Upton Restaurant. Indian dress optional. Indian music/try Belly Dancing. Refreshments and Raffle.
Graham London will be starting his Confidence in Drawing Skills class again on Tuesday, September 1 from 8pm-9.30pm. Everyone welcome.
Linda Edwards begins her Tai Chi class again on Thursday, September 3 at 9am.
Members of the Village Hall Committee would welcome early expressions of interest from any Longdon/Buckbury residents who would be happy to volunteer to open their small or large gardens to the public on a Saturday in June 2016 from 11am-4pm - fundraising for the upkeep of Longdon Village Hall community asset.
