After being runnerup twice on quiz shows, Mastermind on TV and Brain of Britain on radio, retired Malvern librarian Brian Chesney triumphed at last when he won Two Tribes on BBC2 on Thursday night, gaining a prize of £4000. Brian had to survive five rounds of general knowledge questions, surviving the final head to head by just one second. He then had to put four questions about 17th century historical characters in the correct category but since the 17th century is Brian's seciality, that was no problem. I shall be spending the money on a holiday in Tuscany for me and my wife said Brian Based on information supplied by brian chesney.
