THE Women's Guild of Friendship is holding a Coffee Morning and Bring and Buy Sale in aid of Community Action on Wednesday, August 19 at Christ Church Hall, Avenue Road, Malvern.
Coffee and tea will be available from 10am onwards and selling from the stalls will begin at 10.30am. Visitors will be welcome.
Community Action - the Guild's chosen charity for 2015 - operate a wide range of services for local people including a car service to take the elderly and disabled to and from medical appointments and also social trips to help with things like shopping. They also have a Sunday Tea Club specifically for older people who may find themselves lonely on Sundays and a Cinema Club is held once a month at The Cube.
