OUR Quizmasters, Steve and Jean, did a brilliant job the other Friday evening, and this another successful village quiz was attended by all ages.
Prizes were given to the best adult and best child team-name and the quiz was won by team John's Late.
This Sunday the morning service will be held outdoors at Pool Piece, 9.30am. Bring your chairs and blankets and be prepared for something different as we listen to the Parable of the Forlorn Shaun. All welcome, especially families and children.
The Craft Group are scheduled to meet this Thursday in the Committee Room of the Memorial Hall, 2pm-4pm. New members are welcome.
The Memorial Hall management committee meet on Monday, July 6 for the AGM. A new committee will be elected to serve in the coming year.
The village ceilidh is on Saturday, July11 at the hall at 7.30pm where there will be a pay bar and snacks available. For tickets and further details phone 01531 670690/637316.
