LAST Sunday a visit from the Bishop of Dudley, Right Reverend Graham Usher, to St Mary’s Church, Madresfield, was the highlight of the week.
The service of Pentecost also saw the baptism of Arwin, Denise and Justine, followed by the confirmation of Denise, Christopher, Justine and Jack by the Bishop. Lady Morrison read the story of Pentecost from The Acts, and Lyn Snook led the prayers. After the service lovely refreshments were served in Madresfield School.
Madresfield Court opens its gardens on Saturday, June 6 for a fete; entry is £5.
