RESIDENTS from Hanley Swan’s Albion Lodge Retirement home entered into spirit to raised money for Comic Relief by having a coffee morning with armchair exercise.

Residents enjoyed Red Nose Cakes and bought the colourful noses. They then had the Friday Music and Movement group class led by physiotherapist Susan. This was a fantastic sight with the red noses bobbing up and down.

As well as laughs, the morning raised an amazing £43.70.

Care manager, Andrew Darwent, commented that residents were always keen to support the next generation, and children in particular. He also said, “People enjoy getting together for a good cause, having a natter over some yummy homemade cakes, and keeping fit through some fun exercise. Overall, it’s a perfect way to raise money”.
