MEMBERS who attended the March meeting listened to a talk given by local members Catherine Banks, Faith Renger and Barbara Hartley-Woolley on Barnard’s Green.
The talk is the second in the series and is an opportunity for members to hear of the progress in their research. The talk charted the development of Barnard’s Green from its Saxon beginnings as Baldenhall through to the 19th century development of the current Barnard's Green and onto how the shops have changed over the last 130 years.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday, April 1 when Alan Thornton will give a talk on The Cadbury Story.
