MALVERN town guided walking tours resume for the new season on Saturday, March 28 and continue each weekend until Sunday, September 27.

Conducted by Malvern Civic Society volunteers, the walks take in a range of sights connected with the town’s heritage. We focus particularly on the Victorian water cure period, which put Malvern on the map, but also include a number of other interesting topics as well as famous people who have lived here or visited, such as Elgar, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens and Florence Nightingale.

The walks start at the Tourist Information Centre (TIC), at the top of the Church Street, at 10.30am on Saturdays and Sundays and take about 90 minutes, with no steep climbs.

The cost is £3 per adult to join a walk and 50p for a child. Places can be booked at the TIC in advance on phone number 01684 892289 or turn up on the day (booking essential for any large parties).
