WE are thrilled that Michael Jones is returning to Christ Church, and this time with his Spanish Guitar duo partner Agustin Maruri on Monday, March 23 at 7pm.
This is an amazing opportunity to see these unique ,world class artists here in Malvern, indeed the only established such duo in the world.
When Michael played in 2013 he gave an unforgettable performance of the Bach and Rodrigo and the programme this time looks to be equally inspirational, including Marcello, Romberg, Marchelie, Manuel De Falla and Gnattali.
They have travelled all over the world and the duo are about to embark on their tour of North America but asked to come back to Christ Church and its wonderful acoustics. So from Cuba to Christ Church their reputation is renowned and the duo have made many hugely successful recordings.
