YEAR Seven pupil at The Chase School, Fabian Sturman, is the winner of the school's Chase Has Got Talent Competition 2015, staving off stiff competition from a highly talented line-up of acts.
The show was organised entirely by sixth form students at the school, with a panel of teachers acting as the judges.
Fabian charmed and delighted the audience with his rendition of A Magnet Hung in a Hardware Shop from Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera, Patience.
He was praised by the judges for his singing, his costume that featured items form the hardware shop described in the lyric, and his comic timing that incorporated a plethora of properties that he used to great effect.
When asked by sixth-former Tom Mather, co-compere of the show how winning the competition made him feel, he responded: “Very, very happy!”
