THANK you to all who came on Sunday to plant the hedging and trees at our Parish Hall, which was a great success.

All we now need is the right mix of sunshine and rain to watch them grow!

A reminder of our fund raising Folk & Blues Open Mike evening on Saturday, March 14 at the Parish Hall. Doors open at 7.30pm and admission costs just £5. Tickets and further details are available from Roger Best (01684 833445), Med Snookes (01684 833477) and David Edwards (07733 105258) and there will be a bar operating throughout the evening.

Our service this Sunday, March 1 is Kaleidoscope at 6.30pm. This is our relaxed and informal, but very uplifting, act of worship, when we sing more modern worship songs to Wellspring Ensemble played on CD. Readings are as set for the day and the Reverend Chris Moss leads us in an inspired reflection, which is always thought provoking.

The second session of our Lent Course takes place at Dee's Cottage on Tuesday, March 3 when Mark Jackson (CEO at St Richard's Hospice) will lead the discussion on Trident: from the Christian perspective? All are welcome to attend, but please call hosts Michael and Jane Harper if you plan to come, so numbers may be catered for.
