A WARM welcome was extended to members, by Catherine Best, at the February meeting.

The winner of the competition voucher for 2014 was Kay Roxburgh. Many congratulations to her. Members were asked for volunteers for cake making and helping in the WI marquee at the Three Counties Show in June.

Dates for the diary included lunch with Michael Portillo to be held at Sixways Rugby Stadium on April 27 cost £37.50, a town walk in Droitwich to be held on June 25 at a cost of £9 (to include a light supper) and the County Quiz at Hanley Swan on March 4.

After the meeting Maureen Flint held a workshop and members were invited to select their own choice of beads from the vast selection that was on offer, to make a bracelet. For most members it took much longer to make their bead selection than it did to thread their bracelet! Maureen was on hand to show everyone how to complete their work. Many thanks go to Maureen and Heather Hunabun (who helped guide members through the workshop) for a very enjoyable evening.

The next meeting will be held on March 12 when Mr D Barrie will tell members how to Feel Good, Stay on Top – what good nutrition can do for you. Visitors will be most welcome.
