WEST Malvern has lost a well-known resident with the sudden death earlier this month of Audrey Turner at the age of 82.
For many years she welcomed people from far and wide to regular bridge sessions at her Croft Bank home, which she also opened up to the committee meetings of the Friends of St James's Church, whose efficient and conscientious treasurer she had been for the past decade. She had only recently resigned from the post, in which she has been succeeded by Stella Jordan. Audrey's funeral will take place at St James's on March 3.
