PUPILS at Leigh and Bransford Primary School got a visit form their local policing team and police dog mascot Peeler.
The invitation came as part of Class One's topic "People who help us", and the visiting officers demonstrated some of their equipment and talked about the wider policing team such as the control centre, helicopter and dog units.
The pupils then got the chance to sit in the police car and play with the lights and sirens.
Head Stuart Bill said: "I'd like to thank the local team for sharing their work and for helping our pupils to understand that the role of the police is wide ranging and is as much about helping people as catching criminals.
“The pupils really enjoyed this session and I’m sure it was a memorable experience for them.”
