ON Thursday, January 15, Philip Duckworth treated us to a fascinating insight into his career in antique furniture.
He started working for the auction house Phillips before moving on to Christie’s as a furniture specialist. It was interesting to hear of stories from behind the scenes in such a renowned organisation.
At our next meeting on February 19, Brian Robbins of Woodredding Farm will talk on cider making.
