THE next public meeting of the Colwall Village Society will be on Monday , January 26 in Colwall Village Hall.
Tea and coffee will be available from 7pm and the meeting will start at 7.30pm.
The subject of the meeting will be a talk by Beth Andrews of the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust at the University of Worcester. The title of Beth’s talk is Stone Buildings & Structures in Colwall. This will cover looking at the geological history of Herefordshire & Worcestershire as expressed in its buildings and the local stone types used in their construction. She will also cover some of the findings that volunteers working on this Lottery supported project have come up with so far.
All are welcome. Non-members entrance fee £2.
