TOMORROW, Saturday, December 13, Bosbury Parish Hall holds a Christmas Fair from 10am to noon.
Santa will arrive in the village at 10.30am with a present for each child. See him in his grotto and visit stalls selling gifts, crafts, face painting, plants and garlands, cards and wrapping paper, cakes and Christmas produce. Mulled wine or coffee with mince pies will be on offer and there will be tombola, a raffle with good prizes and competitions.
On Sunday, December 14, Parish Communion, a modern service using contemporary language and music, will be celebrated at 9.30am at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. All are welcome.
A reminder that Grow Your Own (PG) will be the next Flicks in the Sticks screening on Friday, December 19. Homemade ice cream, wine and nibbles will be available on the night. Entrance is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
The Christmas Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday, December 20, between 10.30am and noon, at Bosbury Parish Hall. New seasonal producers are welcome, space permitting. The charge per table is a very reasonable £5, but pre-booking is essential. To take a stall, call Rhinedd (01531 640076) or Liz (01531 640415).
