Powick and Callow End branch of the Royal British Legion are pleased to announce the winner of this year’s annual Schools Poppy Cup competition that was hotly contested by the schools in Callow End, Madresfield and Powick.
As there is a considerable difference in pupil numbers between Powick school and the other two contestants it was felt unfair to judge the winners purely on the cash raised and for this reason, the winning team is the one with the highest collection per pupil.
The end result was extremely close with very little to choose between the three schools and we are extremely grateful to the staff and pupils of all three schools for their magnificent effort again this year.
