To mark the anniversary of the start of WW1, Churchwarden Mark Lister is currently undertaking research into the lives of those men who lived in Castlemorton and served during the conflict of WW1. Having gathered information about those who lost their lives in action, he is now keen to learn more about those men who served and survived the Great War. Tickets are on sale for the Christmas Brass Concert on Thursday, December 4. Ledbury Community Brass Band, Bredon School Choir and Bernadette Kearney will be providing an evening of festive entertainment in aid of 'Help for Heroes'. The concert takes place in St Gregory's Church at 7.30pm and refreshments will be available. Tickets at £10 each should be bought or reserved in advance from Kevin Jeffery (01531 635310), so that a cheque for the proceeds may be presented to a charity representative on the night.
